Research in the lab generally examines the relation between memory and language. Specific areas of research are the processing of referential expressions, language and memory impairments, and the attentional requirements of communication.  Check out the research section to learn more about specific past and present projects.

Our research utilizes behavioral measures such as reading times and eye movements and recently also ERP and fMRI measures.  Check out the resources section to learn more about the equipment and methods we use.

Graduate students can join the lab through the Experimental Psychology graduate program or through the Linguistics graduate program.  Prospective graduate students should contact Dr. Almor for further information.

We are always looking to involve motivated undergraduate  students in our research and have been very successful in training undergraduate researchers.  Check out the undergraduate research section to learn more about the successes of the undergraduate aLab researchers and about research opportunities.
